About Jade

Jade is an award-winning journalist with more than a decade of experience working  in newspapers, magazines, television, radio and online.

She's also the author of The Dirty Stopouts' Guide to 1970s Liverpool, which you can buy here.

She writes on a freelance basis about a range of subjects, specialising in entertainment, food and drink.

She also works as a consultant and editor, and a guest lecturer.

History

Jade started her career in television, working for the BBC for four years, before training as a newspaper reporter and feature writer. 

She was the Liverpool Echo's lead food and drink and music writer for more than a decade, working as part of their busy features team.

She has also written for the Daily Mirror, the Independent, Olive magazine and titles across Trinity Mirror's network, such as The Manchester Evening News, the Birmingham Mail and The Daily Post.
